However, sometimes a default action may not fully match your needs. With various customization options, you can modify existing actions to better fit your characters and scenes.

After you have fine-tuned an action, instead of using it only in the current animation, you can save it in the Custom Action Library for future use.

Customize Actions to Fit Your Needs

Visual Paradigm Online offers over 2,000 pre-made actions to help bring characters to life. However, every animation has unique requirements, so customization is essential.

You can adjust different body parts, such as modifying shoulder positions, arm spacing, or fixing the head to a specific orientation. For more precise adjustments, you can rig the character’s body parts separately, allowing complete control over poses and movements.

Instead of using these customized actions only once, you can save them for future use.

Saving and Reusing Customized Actions

Once you have customized an action, you can store it in the Custom Action Library. Actions can be saved in two ways:

Save as Action – Saves the entire motion sequence, allowing you to reuse the complete animation.
Save as Pose – Captures a single frame of the movement

After saving, you can rename your custom actions and add tags for easy filtering and quick retrieval. This organization feature helps you efficiently manage and reuse your customized actions across different projects.
